Roberto Mancini has revealed he dreams of managing Arsenal.

The former Manchester City boss has just begun his second spell coaching Inter Milan but is keen to return to the Premier League, specifically to Emirates Stadium.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is under pressure after the club’s poor start to the season and he is unlikely to welcome such comments from another top coach.

Mancini told Italian sports daily Il Corriere dello Sport: “I would have loved to have managed Arsenal, a club with a special charm. But there is still time."

The manager, who turns 50 tomorrow, added: “Where do I see myself at 60? As coach of the Italian national team.”

Mancini, who made 36 appearances for Italy during a glittering playing career, enjoyed a successful spell at the Etihad Stadium, winning the FA Cup in 2011 and Manchester City's first ever Premier League title in 2011/12.
