DAVID WALSH capped his return to race-riding with a winner at Worcester yesterday, two years after quitting the sport following a positive drugs test. The Irishman, aged 24, partnered the Ginger McCain-trained Eben Al Habeeb to a four-length victory.

Walsh left racing in 1997 after a month's suspension for his drug offence. He had previously been enjoying the best spell of his career, with second place on Barton Bank in the Cheltenham Gold Cup and a Martell Cup win at Aintree on the same horse.
