Lynda Ramsden, the trainer, and jockey Kieran Fallon were each fined pounds 700 by the Nottingham stewards yesterday over the running of Rafferty's Rules in the Tattersalls Maiden Auction Series Stakes. The juvenile colt, placed in each of his three previous starts, was friendless in the ring and drifted from 7-2 to 6-1. He finished 10th, beaten just over five lengths by Yo-Cando, after appearing to be tenderly handled throughout.
