Satellite Information Services is to set up its own wholly-owned television outside-broadcast operation to supply pictures from racecourses after the end of its Chrysalis contract in May 1997.
SIS chairman, Geoff Lormer, said the decision had been reached for "strategic reasons". "We have been entirely satisfied with the performance of Chrysalis over four and a half years, but we are confident this is the right way ahead for SIS," he said.
