JULIE KRONE furthered her reputation as the world's best woman rider when her first visit to Britain resulted in a treble at Redcar last night. Little of her expertise was required to bring home Al Karnak, who cruised home 20 lengths clear of vastly inferior opposition in the race named in honour of the visiting American rider.
The 17-runner handicap was a tougher proposition, but Krone outrode the opposition to win on the 9-1 chance Gant Bleu and completed her treble on Jack Berry's Cockerham Ranger.
