3.05: RED CARNIVAL can prove too hot for these in the best juvenile race of the season so far. Bare form comparisons through Midnight Break and Always Grace, her Sandown victims, indicate she should have the measure of Warning Star and Myself and the speed she showed suggests Michael Stoute's filly may be something special. She will need to be to cope with Lovely Millie, whose winning margins have been diminishing, however. The participation of Harayir provides the first serious test for what are reputed to be Dick Hern's best two-year-olds for some time and she could easily be equal to it.
3.40: WAGON MASTER and Bobzao ran the best races of their careers when third and first respectively in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot. The selection is now 3lb better off and possesses the greater scope to progress.
4.10: Reg Akehurst's celebrated coups normally result from sudden improvement conjured from exposed horses, but AIRSPEED FLYER looks ready to take off unburdened by a weight matching his obvious merit, judged on two performances keeping close company with Listed performers.
