Racing: Hyperion's tv tips
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

2.15: The combination of a first run at 1m6f and the weight he receives from all his rivals should see ISCAN register his first win of the season. He has been performing admirably in defeat against high-class rivals and may well prove better suited by today's conditions than the French Derby runner-up Nowhere To Exit. Older horse Yavana's Pace is a live threat.
2.45: Near the foot of the handicap, DOUBLE MARCH has shaped better than his recent form figures suggest and has sunk to an attractive mark in the process. He should prove better value than Cadeaux Cher, who has failed to justify support in several similar events already this summer. Dangers abound, however, including Marsad, Zuhair and La Piazza.
3.20: Last season's runner-up Almushtarak should have to settle for a place again faced with the Godolphin challenge of Cape Cross and JOSR ALGARHOUD.

3.10: Bookmakers should show their generous side when pricing up FAGIN. There are better-bred newcomers in the field, notably Ile Michel and Shablam, but Fagin has the chance to outstay them with his dam being a winning hurdler! Ile Michel's talented brother Don Micheletto was beaten on his debut, while Shablam's stable is hardly on fire with their youngsters.
3.45: FANTAZIA is the pick of a decent crop of three-year-olds out to stop Infatuation from winning the race again. Still on a lenient handicap mark after two wins at Redcar, the daughter of Zafonic will be hard to contain with her turn of foot. Also, the stable is on a high.
4.15: Although a winner over one mile, MY PLEASURE is a strong-puller with every hope of causing an upset now that he reverts to seven furlongs. Ed Dunlop has his team in top form and his charge also looks the type to benefit by the fitting of a visor, which is tried today. The big danger is Nice One Clare, who would have won more easily at Kempton but for traffic problems in the straight.
4.45: Richard Hannon is still the man to have on your side in nurseries and his NORFOLK REED looks the part for this after his comeback effort earlier this month. Hannon's youngster lost his momentum evading a fallen jockey two furlongs out and but for that may have beaten the eventual winner Our Ambition. That was the colt's first outing for two months and improvement is on the cards.

4.00: KING PRIAM has a hardy rival in Melodian and both like to force the pace. But Russell Price's mount continues to shape as though capable of winning a weak race and the gelding will find this a touch easier after leading to this distance at Sandown last Saturday.
4.30: BAPTISMAL ROCK has been knocking on the door loudly this summer, yesterday included, and, with the assistance of a draw near the far rail, he can now score for the first time since January. Most of his rivals are worthy of respect, not least top-weight Mousehole who has won three times in the last six weeks.
