GOODWOOD
2.15: HIGH AND MIGHTY was cleverly targetted at the Ascot (Handicap) Stakes at the Royal meeting on his first try at 21/2 miles. He has been hiked up the handicap as a result of that win but can still outclass his rivals.
2.45: The only maiden in the field, BEE EIGHT, looks Group-class material judged on his sterling attempt to give weight all round in the Super Sprint at Newbury on his latest start. He is now showing form to match his good looks and the move back up to six furlongs should be to his advantage.
3.20: His task is not so cut and dried as the morning odds suggest, but ALJABR should win. He has the edge on form thanks to his second in the St James's Palace, and there are sound reasons to believe he can improve on that seasonal reappearance. Jim And Tonic is next best.
3.50: The Godolphin team is in great form at present and TIMAHS can keep the ball rolling. A high-class two-year-old for David Loder last season, he did enough on his seasonal debut to suggest he retains that ability, and as a brother of the1996 Derby winner Shaamit, he looks sure to stay 11/2 miles.
