Boardman joins the World Cup winner, Maurizio Fondriest, of Italy, and 15 other riders, including Scotland's Graeme Obree, in the individual time trial at the Lac de Madine, north-east France. Fondriest clinched the World Cup on Saturday by finishing 11th in the Tour of Lombardy.
