Dickin has to choose between the Queen Mother Champion Chase or the Arkle Chase as a Cheltenham target. "My gut feeling is that he will go for the Arkle but he will be confirmed for both races at the five-day stage and I will take it from there," Dickin said.
"The joy was he proved he could handle firmer ground, although my biggest nightmare for Cheltenham would be if the ground was dangerously hard."
Adrian Maguire returns to race-riding today hoping his recent run of bad luck with injuries has finally come to an end.
The jockey's consultant, Dr Michael Foy, yesterday cleared the Irishman for his Leicester return after examining the radius bone Maguire broke in his right hand following a fall from the David Nicholson-trained Hurricane Lamp at Kempton's Christmas meeting.
