Plymouth Argyle and Plymouth City Council are to unveil plans for a new pounds 25m stadium today. The 23,000 capacity all-seat construction is to be built on land near Argyle's Home Park ground in Central Park, and will be based on the Alfred McAlpine Stadium in Huddersfield.

After winning their first point of the season last Saturday, Poole Town returned to more typical form last night, losing 8-0 at home to Trowbridge Town in a Beazer Homes League Southern Division fixture.
