Your support makes all the difference.Great Britain's women's curling team fell to the second loss of their Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics campaign on Wednesday, going down 9-6 against a Canada outfit who maintained their 100 per cent start to the round-robin stage.
In a contest they headed into on a high having set a new Olympic record by scoring seven points in a single end during Tuesday's 12-3 win over the United States, GB were constantly playing catch-up at the Ice Cube Curling Center, levelling to make it 1-1 and 3-3 before the Canadians notched a three in the fifth to open up a 6-3 lead.
A double takeout shot by GB skip Eve Muirhead in the sixth pulled the score back to 6-5, but the Scottish world champions were unable to get any nearer to their opponents and Jennifer Jones' rink sealed their triumph by notching a point in three of the last four ends.
