A steel beam designed to support a temporary roof at the 1996 Games' swimming venue, located on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, collapsed after being installed yesterday. No one was hurt in the accident, which occurred in an area where 11,000 seats are to be installed.
