The event, which has been moved from its previous date in September, will be held in the week preceding the Open Championship at Troon.
Scotland's Brian Barnes finished joint 16th and the leading Briton at the GTE Seniors Classic in Lutz, Florida on Sunday. Barnes had a two-over- par 73 in the final round for a one-under-par three-round aggregate of 212, eight shots behind the winner, David Graham of Australia.
