A brilliant hundred from Aravinda de Silva, who hit 134 off 131 balls, helped Sri Lanka to a 51-run win over Pakistan yesterday to secure their place in the final of the triangular Sharjah Cup cricket tournament. Zimbabwe are the third team in the tournament.

SHARJAH CUP: Sri Lanka 251 for 7 (A de Silva 134, S Jayasuriya 67), Pakistan 200 (Inzamam-ul-Haq 62). Sri Lanka win by 51 runs.
