Manchester-born Watson, one of just two British players in the NFL, donated the money to Ava Urrea, who has hypoplastic left heart syndrome; Ava was born with half a heart and has had 14 surgeries.
Ava was an honorary captain for the day as Oakland picked up their third win of the season against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, receiving signed helmets and footballs as well as being on the sideline for the game.
But it was Watson who really pulled out the stops for the young girl.
Through the Touchdown Dreams charity, run by FOX Sports journalist Jay Glazer, Watson donated a week's pay to Ava.
According to NFLPA records, his salary for this season is $622,948 (£398,406) making a week's wage around $37,000 (£23,600).
Watson is yet to comment on his generosity.
