Neath are changing the name of their ground from Foster's Gnoll to Courage Gnoll and will receive a five-figure sum for doing so. The South Wales club are also on the brink of a six-figure kit sponsorship deal with Reebok - under a two-year agreement they would have a black kit at home and a gold and navy kit for away matches.

Two more players have left Gloucester, bringing the number of departures from Kingsholm this week to eight. John Hawker, the long-serving hooker who deputised regularly for the England reserve Phil Greening in Gloucester's first-team games last season, has decided to leave, along with scrum-half Laurie Beck.
