Daryl Beattie, third in last year's 500cc championship, escaped injury when he crashed at the Eastern Creek circuit in Sydney during testing for next Sunday's Australian Grand Prix. The Australian, who rides for Kenny Roberts' Yamaha team, said: 'I was high-sided off the bike coming out of the pits. I was a little bruised and sore but luckily I wasn't badly hurt and I'l be all right for next weekend.'
