Your support makes all the difference.The McLaren driver Kimi Raikkonen set the pace on the second day of testing at the Valencia circuit in Spain. The young Finn lapped in 1 minute 13.14 seconds to pip the Williams-BMW of Juan Pablo Montoya by over a second.
The Colombian edged fractions of a second clear of BAR's Olivier Panis while Eddie Irvine continued Jaguar's extensive testing programme with the fourth fastest time. Allan McNish was nearly four seconds slower than Raikkonen in his Toyota while the BAR test driver Anthony Davidson was fractionally slower than the Scot with a time of 1 min 17.33 sec.
