Series leader Leon Haslam and Michel Fabrizio shared the wins in the sixth round of the Superbike World Championship season at Kyalami in South Africa yesterday.

Fabrizio had suffered a miserable campaign for Xerox Ducati but breathed fresh life into his challenge with a dominant win in race one, while Haslam claimed the laurels in a thrilling second race.

The British Suzuki Alstare rider also took third place in the opening race as he moved on to 222 points to extend his lead in the overall standings to 15 points over Aprilia's Max Biaggi, who claimed a fourth and a third.

Fabrizio, meanwhile, is up to eighth in the standings after his first win of the year. "I really needed a result like this after several difficult races," the Italian said.
