Volvo's Rickard Rydell produced two storming qualifying performances at Knockhill in Scotland to grab pole position for both of today's rounds of the Auto Trader RAC Touring Car Championship.

The two extra points gained from the pole positions moved the Swede to second in the championship, above Renault's Alain Menu.
