n John Gosden's Torrential overcame an injury in running to finish a game second to the French-trained Gold And Steel in the Grade Two American Derby at Arlington on Sunday. Ridden by Lanfranco Dettori, he started favourite, but cut his right stifle on coming out of the starting gate.
