Ryder Cup golfer Thorbjorn Olesen has pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual assault, being drunk on an aircraft and assault by beating after appearing at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday.
Olesen, 29, from Fureso in Denmark, was arrested on 29 July upon his arrival at Heathrow Airport, immediately after returning from the World Golf Championships-FedEx St Jude Invitational on a flight from Nashville to London.
Olesen, of Chelsea, south-west London, issued his not guilty plea at a hearing and is due to go on trial on 11 May 2020.
The five-time European Tour winner has been suspended from competition while the case is ongoing.
