0930: Fourballs begin (six matches).
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8
0918: Singles begin (12 matches).
Total points available: 26
12 players in each team. First team to win 131/2 points or more wins. In the event of a tie the USA, as defending champions, would retain the trophy.
