Fourteen countries have said they will participate, and two others - South Korea and Italy - are expected to announce their lineup next week, said Country Heights Promotions Ltd.
Among the top international athletes competing will be Karrie Webb, the world's top woman golfer, representing Australia, the company said.
No. 2 golfer Annika Sorenstam will represent Sweden, while Laura Davies, ranked No. 10 and winner of 60 international events, will represent England, the promoters said.
The three-day tournament will take place at the 71-par, 6,807-yard (6,224-metre) Mines Resort and Golf Club course, about 16 kilometers (10 miles) south of Kuala Lumpur.
The format will be similar to that of the Men's World Cup 1999, in which the lowest aggregate score for the 54 holes or three-rounds of play will be used to determine the winning team, said Country Heights Promotions.
