The million-dollar challenge at Sun City, the gambling resort in Bophuthatswana, has become a little less exclusive. The field will be expanded from 10 to 12 players to make room for more Southern African golfers. Apart from David Frost, the defending champion, and Zimbabwe's Nick Price, the organisers have invited Fulton Allem and Ernie Els (South Africa) and Mark McNulty (Zimbabwe) for the event from 2 to 5 December. The European challenge will be carried by Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Ian Woosnam, with the Americans Payne Stewart, Corey Pavin, Lee Janzen and Mark O'Meara completing the field.
