John Daly put a pre-tournament court hearing out of his mind briefly to take a two-shot lead after the second round at the Atlanta Classic. Daly, who spent Wednesday in Orlando at a court hearing over visitation rights to see his baby daughter, showed admirable restraint as he mostly ignored his driver and a two-iron off most tees. Rewarded for his conservative approach, he had birdies and a bogey for an eight-under-par 64. Daly posted an 11-under 133 half-way total to lead his fellow American Brian Henninger by two strokes.
