Survivor Series sees bragging rights galore up for grabs this weekend as WWE airs its final major pay-per-view of the year.

Rather than focusing on championships and traditional rivalries, Survivor Series is the one event each year that sees the company’s two rosters – Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live – go head to head to see which of the shows is the superior.

It’s a typically star-studded event – Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair are just some of the big names set to feature in singles bouts and traditional Survivor Series elimination matches.

To get you ready for the event, we’ve put together this guide of what you can expect to see and how you can go about seeing it – here’s all you need to know about WWE Survivor Series:

When is Survivor Series?

Survivor Series airs in the UK this Sunday night, 18 November, into Monday morning, with the action getting underway with the main portion of the show at 1am – though a Kick Off show, featuring some primary bouts and build-up will air immediately before.

Where is Survivor Series?

This year’s event emanates from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California. Six times the host venue of WWE Summerslam, the Staples Centre can pack in crowd of up to 20,000 for WWE events.

Where can I watch Survivor Series?

There are plenty of options. You can order the event on Sky Sports Box Office for the price of £14.95 either live or via repeat in the following days.

WWE are also airing the event via their own in-house streaming subscription service, WWE Network. It’s available for £9.99 per month. You can view WWE Network on most smartphones and devices, including PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One and the vast majority of connected smart televisions.

Can I watch Survivor Series for free?

Yes – WWE Network offers its streaming service completely free of charge to new subscribers for the first month. Head to wwe.com and sign up as a new user and you’ll get the next months’ worth of action without spending a penny – including Survivor Series.

What’s the main event?

The match most likely to close out the show is the bout between Raw Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar and newly-crowned WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan, who represents Smackdown Live. Bryan pulled off a shock win this week by claiming the title from AJ Styles, who’d held it for over a year.

What happened to Becky Lynch?

Lynch was due to star in what would have been the main event with a match against Ronda Rousey. The two had traded verbal blows in stunning style over recent weeks as the feud built to a head, but Lynch was legitimately injured in a brawl that formed part of a storyline invasion of Raw by Smackdown superstars this week. A stiff punch from Raw wrestler Nia Jax left Lynch with a broken nose and concussion, meaning she is not medically cleared to compete. Charlotte Flair will take her place in the battle against Rousey.
