The 2014 Masters: Nerveless Ronnie O’Sullivan beats Mark Selby to take his fifth title
O'Sullivan closed out the match 10-4 after a Selby fightback

Ronnie O’Sullivan had to withstand a fightback from defending champion Mark Selby to claim his fifth Masters title at Wembley on Sunday night. O’Sullivan headed into the midway break 7-1 up, having won the first five frames, but Selby battled back to win three of the next five.
However, O’Sullivan held his nerve to close out the match 10-4, and said: “It is always difficult playing Mark because he loves coming from behind. Even at 7-1 up I didn’t feel comfortable. I don’t know how I did it, to be honest.”
Selby said: “When Ronnie gets on form, he just steamrollers you. He started off really well, the first three frames were fantastic. He is fantastic at taking his chances.”
