Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Red Bull's latest video manages to bring BMX riding to another level with the help of pro rider Kriss Kyle and some rather clever set arrangements.
The project is titled Kaleidoscope, fitting of its bright colours and playful toying with the viewer's depth perception.
Red Bull athlete Kyle can be seen ducking in and out of moving ramps, pipes and rails in a very unique arena.
Kriss Kyle has been on a BMX since the age of 10, starting in his home town of Stranraer in Scotland.
His rise to BMX stardom has been nothing if not fast as he says, "I have just finished the biggest project of my life with Kaleidoscope and now I have my face on a Red Bull can. It's crazy. It’s all happened so quickly. It feels like only yesterday that I was riding my local skatepark."
The video was made in association with Red Bull, Sony and Ridley Scott Associates, while it was designed and directed by Ben Scott. The full version is available to view here:
