Today's East Essex meeting at Marks Tey has been postponed and organisers are hoping to reschedule in the next fortnight.

The weekend's other nine fixtures should go ahead, though there will be a precautionary inspection at 1.00pm today for tomorrow's Cottesmore fixture at Garthorpe.

Pointing enthusiasts should make an effort to attend Kingston Blount tomorrow where all proceeds will be donated to the Oxford Children's Hospital in aid of Tom's Ward. The new ward will be named after Tom Waley-Cohen, who died of cancer in 2004 at the age of 20 and his family is dedicated to raising £1m for the hospital. Tom's brother Sam will ride at the meeting and could win the restricted (2.15) on Something Small, who looked a useful prospect when successful at Tweseldown last month.

Mouseski, brought down at the third at Larkhill last Saturday, can make amends in the mixed open (1.10) at Barbury Racecourse today.
