It appears that LeBron James Jnr could be set to follow in his father's footsteps.

Footage of the nine-year-old has gone viral in which he displays his skills on the court, much to the delight of his onlooking father.

In action at the AAU Fourth Grade National Championship in Lexington, Kentucky, Lebron Jnr is seen attacking the basket and sinking a few hoops in a confident display similar to those produced on a regular basis by his father.

Lebron Snr took a courtside seat to watch his son in action but was regularly out of it as he cheered him on over the weekend.

James has a big season ahead of him having decided to leave Miami Heat to re-join Cleveland Cavaliers on a huge deal worth a report $21.5m a season.
