Your support makes all the difference.Tom Daley claimed his second gold medal of the week to crown Great Britain's best showing at the Junior World Diving Championships.
The Olympic bronze medallist won the boys' 10-metre platform event in Adelaide yesterday to follow up his victory alongside Jack Laugher in the 3m synchro earlier this week.
The 18-year-old from Plymouth produced a superb sequence of five dives, scoring 108 points with his fourth and 99 with a fifth dive for which he was awarded perfect 10s by five judges and 9.5 by the other two.
His total of 663.95 points left him 52 clear of China's Yang Jian, whose compatriot Chen Aisen took the bronze medal. Britain's Daniel Goodfellow did not make the final.
Elsewhere, Lydia Rosenthall qualified fourth for the final of the girls' B 3m springboard, but could only finish 11th of 12 after three poor dives in the final.
That meant Britain finished the week with three gold medals, two silver and one bronze.
Laugher also won the 3m springboard solo event and was second in the 1m event, while Alicia Blagg and Hannah Starling were second in the girls' 3m synchro and Starling was third in the 3m springboard.
Daley said: "I'm really happy with my performance. Scoring straight 10s on my last two dives was one of my best achievements. It has been an amazing week by the whole team and will be tough to beat."
British Swimming's junior development manager, Julian Bellan, praised both Daley and the team.
"This week has been out of this world and Tom was phenomenal," he said. "In some ways there was more pressure on him here because he had an Olympic medal.
"The standard of the field has been higher than any recent world junior diving championships in all events, but especially in the platform.
"Tom held it together and completely nailed his dives, scoring well-deserved 10s.
"This has been our most successful championships by far, we have two gold, two silver and one bronze medal to finish second in the medal table and set up our aspirations for the next four years looking to the Olympics in Rio."
