Tour de France green jersey winner Mark Cavendish, reportedly a target for Team Sky, has decided which team he will ride for next year but insists that could mean staying put.
Cavendish became the first British cyclist to win the sprinters' green jersey at the Tour last month, and he has been linked with a move away from HTC-Columbia to Team Sky.
The British team is already home to national team-mates Bradley Wiggins and Geraint Thomas so would be a natural fit for Cavendish in an Olympic year.
But the Manxman told BBC 5 Live: "I want to go to the best place to help me win and that might me staying where I am now."
He added: "I have decided. I decided on Saturday, I was in a hotel in Eindhoven. You just know. You know when something's right."
