O'Sullivan was speaking after his second successive victory in the Champions' Cup here yesterday.

He showed why he is rated the sport's most naturally gifted player by demolishing Jimmy White 5-2 in only 79 minutes, complete with three century breaks. In four frames White did not pot a single ball as O'Sullivan scored breaks of 140 - the best of the event so far - 82, 102 and 107.

"I have only been practising for two weeks, but I don't think practise is the answer," said the 24-year-old from Chigwell.

O'Sullivan is just about guaranteed a place in the semi-finals after following up on Sunday's 5-4 success over world No 2 John Higgins.

White, who is making his first appearance as a wild card in this year's competition, now has to beat Higgins and Matthew Stevens if he is to stay in contention for the £100,000 first prize next Sunday.
