McGregor was soundly beaten by reigning UFC lightweight champion Nurmagomedov on 7 October, dominated on the ground in the first two rounds before tapping out in the fourth.
He then became involved in an altercation with two of Nurmagomedov’s team-mates immediately after his loss, with a post-fight brawl quickly developing which is now under investigation by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
The build-up to the fight had been incredibly acrimonious, with McGregor at one point describing Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, a “f***** snitch, terrorist rat” and invoking the 9/11 terror attacks.
And this week Abdelaziz finally hit back, describing McGregor as a “prostitute”. He did however admit a rematch could happen if Nurmagomedov wanted one.
“He’s talking about a rematch but he quit. He’s a bitch,” Abdelaziz told TMZ. “I said before that he is a prostitute and I still think that he is a prostitute, I haven’t changed my mind.
“He's a b***h. But it’s business. Whatever gets Khabib money, I will do. Whatever Khabib wants, I will do. I’ll do what’s in my ability to get it done.”
Abdelaziz also had a word of warning for McGregor’s coach, Kavanagh.
“Kavanagh is garbage,” he added. “I don’t give a f*** about him. "If I'm inside an arena under regulations, I'm gonna respect the rules. But, outside the arena, there are no rules for me," Ali said.
“But, if you think you're gonna talk crazy and make fun of my religion? Imma catch you outside. A lot of things were said about me that were not right.”
