Your support makes all the difference.Mark Bultje made a memorable return to London Knights on Sunday night by spearheading a sensational final period fightback to earn Manchester Storm a 4-4 tie.
Bultje, who helped London lift the Superleague play-off championship in 2000, salvaged a point for bottom-of-the-table Storm and piled on the misery for Bob Leslie's side.
Dwight Parrish gave Storm the lead but goals from Mark Kolesar, Paul Rushforth, Nate Leslie and Kim Ahlroos seemed to be enough to earn London only their second win in nine games. However, a Bultje treble in the final 20 minutes ensured London remained without a win in six games against Storm this season.
Ayr Scottish Eagles ended a dismal run with a 3-2 win at Nottingham Panthers. The Eagles had lost five and tied one of their previous six away games, and fell behind to Greg Hadden's 18th goal of the season. But powerplay strikes from Jonathan Weaver and Shawn Byram put them ahead and Dino Bauba secured the points after Hadden had bagged his second of the night.
Bracknell Bees claimed a 3-2 victory at home to the champions, Sheffield Steelers. Bees went 2-0 ahead through Sam Ftorek and Brad Peddle. Chris Lipsett responded with his 15th goal of the campaign to put a Sheffield side, featuring the former Bee Chris Brant, back in the game. Dan Ceman stretched Bees' lead on the powerplay before Ron Shudra's short-handed marker set up a tense finish.
* Injury-hit Sheffield Steelers have been allowed to postpone their home game against Bracknell tomorrow but Thursday's trip to London Knights will go ahead as planned.
