The Sheffield Steelers coach Mike Blaisdell says his side's Superleague title success on Sunday night "was the most rewarding" trophy he has won since coming to this country".
With title rivals Belfast facing bottom-of-the-table Bracknell, Steelers went into the final game of the regular season at Nottingham Panthers desperately needing a victory.

"It was a very sweet way to do it," beamed Blaisdell. "To win it in Nottingham was something special."
