Premier League leaders Cannock swept into the semi-finals of the EH Cup with a 10-3 victory against Beeston yesterday, completing a successful weekend after a 2-1 league victory at Surbiton on Saturday.

Reading remained in touch with a 2-1 win at Loughborough Students, then joined Cannock in today's Cup semi-final draw after a 6-0 win at St Albans. There were also semi-final wins for Students and Guildford.

Russelsheimer won their 11th Women's European Club Championship Indoor final in France yesterday when they beat Ritm Grodnov of Belarus 3-1. Slough lost 3-1 in a penalty shoot-out with the Netherlands side Den Bosch in the bronze medal game, after a 2-2 draw.
