Making his Las Vegas debut, the Brit shone, dazzling his German opponent with a flurry of shots to bloody his face and drop him in the second round.
The barrage continued after the fight resumed, but the referee soon stepped in to end the contest.
Fury then revealed his next step and the likely dates, before revealing his desire to return to New York, while also displaying his singing ability following a quick drink after being urged on by the crowd and broadcaster.
"I got a big man out of there with the left hook," Fury said after his emphatic victory. "He caught me with a couple of shots, so fair play to him.
"It was amazing, I hope America enjoyed it. I'm not one of those who take myself too seriously. September 21st or October 5th, I think in New York, then I'll hunt down Wilder.
"I won't look past today, but Bob and Frank will get deals done, then we'll fight Wilder early next year."
