Britain's men, buoyant after Wednesday's 72-69 overtime win in Albania, will have at least joint leadership of their five-team Group B if they beat Belarus at Sheffield's Ponds Forge.
The women's squad face Luxembourg at Cardiff after opening their Group B schedule with an impressive72-66 victory in Estonia last weekend. The women's coach, Mark Clark, said: "We've got to put ourselves in a strong position in this group and make sure we get another win tonight."
Assuming the Dutch defeat Albania tonight, victory for Britain over Belarus will give them joint leadership of the group with the Netherlands ahead of next season's return fixtures. The group winners automatically qualify for a play-off to be promoted to the A Championships.
