The Olympic discus silver medallist Darya Pishchalnikova has been banned for 10 years for doping and will be stripped of her medal from London.

The 27-year-old Russian, tested positive for the banned substance Oxandrolone in a more advanced retest of a sample taken last May.

Scottish 800m runner Lynsey Sharp has said doping in athletics is a "huge problem" and plenty of athletes are still cheating without being caught. She is set to be awarded the European Championship 800m gold medal after it was confirmed that Russia's Yelena Arzhakova had been banned for two years.
