Alba, currently on duty for Spain at the World Cup in summer, has spent the last six seasons at Barcelona after joining from Valencia in 2012.
Despite making 48 appearances for Barcelona last season, the Spaniard has been linked with a move to north London – but the 29-year-old has made it clear he has no desire to leave the current La Liga champions.
Asked if Tottenham’s reported interest was affecting him, Alba told a World Cup press conference: “No, no, I’m very good at Barca. If it were up to me, I would stay at Barcelona all my life.
“But it does not depend on me but on what the club wants. It also depends on my performance, which this season has been very good, but I do not see myself outside of Barcelona.”
Tied down to a contract with Barcelona until 2020, Alba has a reported €150m release clause.
The player has won a total of four La Liga titles with the Catalans and also lifted the Champions League in 2015.
