Wolverhampton Wanderers produced a late turnaround to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the early kick-off. Pedro Porro set up Brennan Johnson to tap in from close range just two minutes in and despite the hosts having a shed-load of chances, their wastefulness looked set to see Spurs take the points.
However, Pablo Sarabia whacked in a 90th-minute equaliser, before Mario Lemina slid in a winner six minutes later to send the Molineux fans wild and hand Spurs a second successive league defeat.

Half of the 18 all-time Premier League meetings between Wolves and Tottenham have been won by the away side (nine). Of all matchups to take place as often as this one, only Leicester City versus Manchester City features a higher win rate for the visiting team (54%). Might that be a positive omen for the depleted visitors? The teams are out, and kick-off is rapidly approaching!

Postecoglou is forced into four alterations, with Udogie and Romero suspended while Maddison and Van de Ven are injured. Dier, Davies and Emerson Royal join Porro in the visitors' new-look backline, though we'll have to wait for kick-off to see who is playing at left-back and who is filling in at centre-back. Hojbjerg comes into the midfield, potentially allowing Bissouma to play a more advanced role, while Richarlison is sidelined after undergoing groin surgery.

O'Neil makes two changes to the hosts' lineup after their disappointing loss at Bramall Lane. Having scored his first Premier League goal last week, Bellegarde replaces Kalajdzic as O'Neil goes for pace in attack. Gomes replaces Doyle in a straight swap in midfield, while Bueno is back among the substitutes after recovering from injury. Pedro Neto is still sidelined, though Wolves are hopeful he could return after the international break.

Wolves are also looking to bounce back from a frustrating defeat, having become the first team to lose to Sheffield United in 2023-24 last week. Gary O'Neil's men looked set to leave Bramall Lane with a point when Jean-Ricner Bellegarde cancelled out Cameron Archer's opener, but the Wolves boss was left to rue yet another contentious decision against his side, with Oliver Norwood converting a last-gasp penalty after Fabio Silva was harshly judged to have fouled George Baldock. The hosts will hope to avoid any more VAR drama here, and their pacey frontline could cause Spurs' makeshift backline problems.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Tottenham Hotspur
It's fair to say it has been a difficult week for Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham. Spurs suffered their first Premier League defeat under the former Celtic boss on Monday, as Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were sent off in a chaotic 4-1 defeat to Chelsea which also contained five disallowed goals. Things then went from bad to worse on Friday as Postecoglou revealed creative midfielder James Maddison and impressive defender Micky van de Ven will both be sidelined until the new year. The patched-up visitors face a real test of their credentials here.
