David Moyes will look to capitalise on winning momentum in West Ham’s Europa League match against Rapid Vienna on Thursday.

The Hammers knocked Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup and then defeated Leeds in the Premier League so they will have confidence heading into the match.

The manager shared his delight at picking up three points in the Leeds match, he said: “The players have done a brilliant job, and do you know something? I wasn’t surprised. We’ve got a wee bit more of inner drive in us.

“Of course there will be games where we go behind and maybe can’t get back from it, but in the main, certainly in the last 18 months or so, we’ve been in every game.

“We might not win them all, but we’ve been in every game fighting to try and win it. Today was another one where we’re fighting to try and win it. We got back to draw it, then we went on to win it, so it’s really good.”

For West Ham, Ryan Fredericks is in doubt due to a groin injury, while Vladimir Coufal is an injury doubt. Academy graduate Ben Johnson is set to deputise.

Rapid Vienna have been hit with injuries this season and Oliver Strunz, Richard Strebinger, Christopher Dibon, Filip Stojkovic, Lion Schuster and Robert Ljubicic are all set to miss this one.
