As for the Gunners, their luck seems to have finally changed after reports emerged late on Thursday night that the club had agreed to sign Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez for £17.1m. The deal is supposedly all but done and will be confirmed shortly once the player's medical is completed.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has hit out against speculation surrounding Wilfried Zaha's possible exit to London rivals Tottenham.
Paris said there is “no chance” of Zaha leaving after Spurs submitted what he called a “ridiculous” £12m bid for the former Manchester United winger.
The 23-year-old is reported to have requested to leave Selhurst Park this summer following a clandestine meeting with manager Alan Pardew but Parish has since moved to accuse Spurs of attempting to “turn his head” with a derisory opening offer.
