Pochettino, who joined Spurs on a five-year deal following a successful two-year stint with Southampton, is ready to bring the 21-year-old to White Hart Lane.
Davies, a Wales international with 10 caps, has seen his reputation rise after deputising for Neil Taylor when his compatriot broke his leg and stayed in the team under Michael Laudrup.
Spurs are known to be searching for a left-back, with Benoit Assou-Ekotto unlikely to return and Danny Rose the only recognised left-back at the club, and Davies could be interested in making a move to the north London outfit with European football on offer.
The Daily Mail say that a £6 million offer for the left-back will be enough to force Garry Monk's hand, although it may take a bid near the region of £10 million to seal the deal for the talented defender.
Tottenham are also said to be hot on the trail of Espanyol centre-back Hector Moreno, who has impressed with Mexico at the World Cup, while Morgan Schneiderlin has also been backed to follow Pochettino to White Hart Lane.
