Marouane Fellaini has revealed he is still in contact with former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

The former Everton midfielder joined United in 2013 and became a key player under Mourinho, before then leaving for Shandong Luneng in the Chinese Super League.

And the 32-year-old has admitted he still talks to new Tottenham Hotspur boss Mourinho – although has insisted he is happy at his new club in China.

“Jose is special for me,” Fellaini told Eleven Sports. “We text each other, we call each other from time to time.

“He’s taken over at Spurs and he’s doing well. I wish him all the best. But I am good where I am now.”
