Tottenham target Clinton Njie has been pictured at an airport heading to London as his move to White Hart Lane edges to completion.

The Lyon striker was spotted by a fan at a French airport.

The image, posted by Yass Touns, was captioned with the striker laughing after being asked 'Tottenham?' - he replied by saying 'don't say anything please'.

Spurs are reported to have agreed a £12million deal with the French club for the 21-year-old who scored eight goals in all competitions last season.

The Cameroonian international, who can also play on either wing, still needs to complete a medical at White Hart Lane.

He is a likely replacement for Roberto Soldado, who Tottenham winger Erik Lamela revealed was leaving the club for Villarreal on Twitter before hastily deleting the Tweet.
