Santi Cazorla admits he's 'heard' about Atletico Madrid interest - but will stay at Arsenal if he feels 'valued'

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to the Spanish champions

Santi Cazorla says he will remain at Arsenal for as long as he feels "valued".

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, something the midfielder is aware of, and reportedly came close to leave the Emirates last summer.

However he's played an integral role for the Gunners this season and Arsene Wenger would be reluctant to let him leave. That shouldn't be an issue, as long as Arsenal can keep him happy.

"I've heard [about Atletico's interest], like everybody," the 30-year-old told El Mundo.

"But at the moment there is nothing concrete, only rumours. I don't worry about that.

"I'm focused on Arsenal, where I am very happy. I have another year on my contract and the option for one more.

"As long as I feel valued, I will continue here... although you never know what the future will bring in football."

Cazorla, who joined Arsenal from Malaga in 2012, elaborated on why he's content to remain at his current club.

"I live in Hampstead, 15 minutes from the training ground, and it's really nice.

"It's the perfect place for my kids to go to school... very calm. They're picking up the language quickly, which is really important for me and my wife."
